About

Danica's Massage Practice

Welcome to my massage practice!  My practice may possibly take a different form from other massage practices you have experienced.  Here is how I usually structure a session.  First, after you arrive at my office, I allow ample time for you to discuss with me any health concerns or problems you may be experiencing that could be helpful to be considered and addressed in our work together.  I am always committed to doing whatever I can, within the scope of my massage practice and professional licensing guidelines, to support you in attaining your own goals for health, pain-relief, and healing.  Then, before the massage begins, I will formulate a possible treatment plan for the session which will be based on my knowledge and experience combined with your input .  This will lead to an experience of a massage modality of your choice, such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage,  Asian massage and bodywork, hot stone massage, or even a wonderful combination of any of them.  Please note that some of the styles I practice allow you to remain partially clothed or even fully clothed, if that is what you would prefer, as long as you come wearing soft, cotton clothing for the session.  Otherwise you are comfortably covered with a soft, whilte cotton flannel sheet, according to standard draping practices. All my techniques are soothing and therapeutic and I am also careful to adjust my pressure to be as light or deep as you like it to be.  I always do my best to make each session both enjoyable and therapeutic.
